OK, how on Earth did we get to the Holiday Season ALREADY!?!?!? that means we're only 2 months away from the Rendezvous and there are so many exciting things to report. You'll have to forgive me for not writing more often, but things here have been absolutely frantic as I'm sure you can imagine.
I'll do my best to bring you up to date though so here goes...
To help any registered carvers flying in to Pittsburgh, we've chartered a lovely bus for one trip to Ridgway and back. (Don't be fooled by the pic on the home page, that's just Sputnik's idea of a joke.) We would have loved to have done more, but it simply wasn't possible. Hopefully this is of some help to you though. Registered carvers can check out details here.
Although we usually get most of our carver registrations in January, we have almost 100 regsitered already! So it definitely looks set to be a bumper year. But remember, if you want to be an official registered carver, (with all the perks that come with it) don't leave it til the last minute, register now!
As many of you who have been before will know, it can be a little tricky finding a place to stay if you leave it to the last minute, so we've just put an updated list of lodging in the area online for you so be sure and check that out before it's too late!
Now I must get back to organising things... let me just finish by saying if I don't get a chance to write again before Christmas, on behalf of myself and Rick, we wish you the most beautiful Holiday Season possible. Stay safe and we can't wait to see you all in February!
